Selected for QVC's Decade of Discoveries Tour!
On Friday, August 12th, Approach® Biological Odor Eliminator was featured on QVC, the country's leading home shopping channel. Selected as one of the top 100 new products of 2005, Approach appeared as one of ten new products being presented on the sixth Decade of Discoveries Tour show, broadcast live from the beautiful Garden Of The Gods Visitor and Nature Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
QVC host Jayne Brown demonstrated Approach on-air by eliminating onion odor from her hands and by spraying and smelling a variety of common household odor sources including cigarettes, limburger cheese and athletic equipment.
Popular QVC host David Venable participated in the Approach segment by comically playing to the camera in front of a portable bathroom facility that had been set up for the use of cast, crew and audience. Pretending that the portable bathroom smelled so badly that he couldn't use it, Venable sprayed its interior with Approach while warning everyone to wait before entering.
Approach proved a popular item on the show by selling out with more than a minute remaining in its eight-minute segment. Triumph Marketing Group CEO Glenn Appleyard, who was a co-presenter on-air with Jayne Brown, described the show as "an incredible experience that validated Approach's amazing capabilities and the demand for such a product nationwide."
